Gift Ideas for him!

Happy Friday lovelies …

I found something in common with almost every girl I know is that whenever we think of getting our husbands, or dads a gift we always wonder what to give them? it's never an easy task to do so, and since my wedding anniversary is near by I had to think of a gift myself. I believe that every occasion has its own specialty to determine the kind of a gift like for anniversary I think it's most likable to give him something that he'll remember me with and therefore it's the classic gifts. By classic I mean a watch, cologne, and a wallet. This year is no different in which my husband is really into SevenFriday watches, unfortunately it's a little bit too above my budget :p so I had to look for something similar in a way or another and that's when I thought of making a list of suggestions for the classic men's gift and thought of different budgets big, good, and ok kind and here's what I came up with…

I hope you like my suggestions and hopefully I'll pick something soon :p Have a nice day,

memories of 2015

Happy new year :)
I know it's almost two weeks late to say so but I still wanted to say it anyway ;) though this post was published and then deleted!! I don't know how but I don't mind doing it all over again!

I know that years from now when I look at older posts I would remember everything about the time I wrote it or how I prepared for it and most importantly is how I felt about it! so I thought of wrapping all of 2015 memories into my first best of the year products -yay so happy!

Taking care of hair last year was a little bit more intense than ever, because I suffered from a severe hair-loss and overall damaged because of the post pregnancy thing! so the best products that were there with me through those hard times were:

1. Indola Innova - hair growth tonic: I had this tonic for quite some time but never really used it well until July. I used it every night on damp or dry hair hoping that something will change because I reached to a point where I was really insecure about my hair condition! After almost two weeks I started noticing that the falling hair was less than before and sooner there was baby hair :D really happy with the results and I still use it! LOVE IT.
2. Macadamia Healing oil: when I say that my hair was damaged I mean frizzy and crazy and when I thought that by getting a short hair cut would solve the problem, I actually made it worse!! therefore I started using this oil Along with Tresemme Argan oil so that I can tone down the electricity in my hair :p those two were so good but now I'm thinking of something deeper to heal my hair, will see about that!

the biggest experimental part of last year was related to taking care of my face! because of my pregnancy I had a big discoloration issues especially on my face and neck, in other words the most apparent thing in me :p so I had to take extra care of my face in terms of daily moisturizing, night care and face wash and cleansers. so these products were close to my heart for everything they did for me =) 1. Garnier night cream and eye roll-on: As a new mom I wanted things that have huge impact but don't require a lot work! so I met this Garnier night cream on my mom's night stand :p I started using it and the results were really quick like within a week! so I had to get my own and while I was looking for it I came across the roll-on and I know that I have to take care of my under eye area more than ever and I got it. Even though I didn't see any results from using the roll-on I still loved it xD because when applying it, it gives a refreshing feeling and cool kinda of thing I just love it!
2. Soap and Glory - Peaches and clean: My all times favorite cleanser! I have an oily skin but every cleanser I used before seem to dry my face out! even those that are soap free unlike this one ❤ it's very gentle but affective. I love how my face feels after using it! I think this is my 3rd bottle so far!
3. St.Ives - Apricot scrub: sometimes I like to pamper myself before the weekend or before an event or simply when I'm tired and need to spoil myself a little. and the one that I like last year was this scrub, it says that it can be used on a daily basis but I think that it would be harsh on my skin to do so but overall I love how it cleans without drying my face!
4. Olay double action essentials - oily/combo moisturizing gel: I was never really a fan of Olay products :/ they were heavy and they turn into a weird color whenever I use them! while I was looking for an oil control moisturizer I saw this one and I thought why not try it! OMG how much I love it now! because it's a gel it is early and quickly absorbed and my face does not get oily quick when I use it! this became a must have item for me!

Ooh makeup! one of the things that I've been using since like ever is the Labello lip balm, I've tried most of the colors and flavors as well as the different formulas! this summer I met my favorite of all which is the watermelon one ❤ a lot of people say that they hate its smell but not me! I love it and what makes it my best is its pinkish color that looks so natural on me. when it comes to real makeup there's no doubt that The Balm - Nude 'tude palette was my favorite! I mean look at the colors and just imagine how many looks you can create with them, from simple to sparkly to smokey! and they're really pigmented.
Last but not least, the scent of 2015 was J'adore by Dior. This perfume holds a special memory in my heart ❤ before I knew I was pregnant I bought a perfume BUT then I couldn't bare smelling it! and my mom smelled it before on me and she liked it so I gave it to her. Only few days later she surprised me with this beauty ❤❤ it's so feminine and I used it through out my pregnancy so it just holds every beautiful moment from my mom and my little angels.
and that was my bests of 2015 I just wish that 2016 would be filled with joy, happiness and love for all :)

Take care beauties,

sometimes miracles come in pairs **

In life we wish for so many things. Some come true with a blink of an eye, while others need hard work to come alive, and then there are those wishes that all you have to do is just wait for the right time! these kind of wishes require a lot of patience especially when we know that it's worth the wait. Last year around this time I had one of my kept wishes come true in which I knew that after 9 months I was going to be a new mom ::^_^:: it was probably one of the most amazing moments in my life that was filled with tears of joy! then I got another surprise the kind that will make me a mother of adorable twins :) I was so happy during the whole nine months journey even during the times when I couldn't eat anything other than bread! and on Friday May 29 I knew that miracles sometimes do come in pairs ❤

I wanted my babies giveaways to be made with love - handmade :) - with a theme that ensembles "double the love" and "wishes do come true" so I ended up choosing a tag line that means "there was a beautiful dream that came true with a prayer ❤"

I hope all your dreams and wishes to come true and have a lovely Friday :)

Florals? for spring? GROUND BREAKING ..!!!

Greetings everyone :)

I hope you're enjoying this lovely time of the year as much as I am! Spring to me is just another excuse to indulge myself with florals, from clothes to scents to furniture and I can go on and on… but yeah that's how much I adore florals and flowers. Even though it's almost Summer (YAY!) there's still some time to enjoy the rest of Spring.
The other day I was looking for a floral scented bath products that's when I met Marks & Spencer's Floral Collection ❤❤

The first thing that caught my attention was the design - I tend to pay a lot of attention to small details :p and I love watercolor prints and designs - but when I smelled it!!! ooooh it was another story! I'm someone who is addicted to Rose water and that collection especially "Rose" smelled just like that! so I didn't really hesitated on buying it but unfortunately it was a new collection so most of the products of that collection were out of stock but I did get the Foaming bath and I do remember that there was a matching bag but I don't know why I didn't take it! After a while I needed to restock the foaming bath for a project that I was working on that I'll tell you about later ;) and when I went back to M&S there were a lot of products of the floral collection "Rose" but I didn't wanted to go so far I only took the foaming bath, body lotion, and spray.

Whenever I use any of them I feel like I'm in a field of roses, the smell is just so beautiful but not that heavy that you feel like you're choked by the scent. my favorite out of the 3 would be that foaming bath, it's really moisturizing and I use it as a shower gel :p and it's so good! The lotion I use it mostly for my hands, it provides a good amount of moisturizing but not an intensive one.
As for the spray I actually got it for linens and the room I just imagined the place turning into a field of roses and it's just the perfect Spring-ish smell! and as I expected it does fill my apartment with great scent, but the only downside to it is that it doesn't last for a long time! other than that I Loved it!

See you next time Lovelies!
Have a nice day ✿

Recent Additions to my make-up ✿

Happy weekend everyone :)

I just want to say how much I miss blogging!!! it's been quite some time since my last post, but I've been recently going through a lot of changes in my life! and the biggest one is that I'm expecting new addition to my family ❤❤ so it's been a little bit of a challenge to sort things around especially TIME! But it's SPRING time - which is possibly my favorite time of the year, not too hot but not too cold and the flowers everywhere is just perfect!

in this post I'd like to share with you my recent additions to my make-up collection! it's been a while since I updated my collection, so it's time to do so! I'm planning on trying new things every month because the 4 coming months are filled with celebrations! YAAY! So far my additions are: the Beauty Blender ❤ Gosh foundation, Dior mascara, H&M lip pen and eye pen.

Ever since H&M introduced their Beauty line, I've been wanting to get something I would just stare at every beauty product in their App and just hope to get it - but it looks like there are millions who had the same wish!! I wanted to try their blushes, bronzers, eyeshadows but nooo it was all out of stock!! But I fell in love with their "Beauty Pens" so I got one for eyes and one for lips!! the eye pen is a shimmery pink gold soft color, I've been using it in so many ways like eyeshadow, inner eye corner brightener, upper lip highlighter and sometime to give some sparkle to my lower lashes - it's obvious I love it! the lip pen is not red as it shows in the pics :p it's almost a hot pink it gives quite a good color, I sometimes use it for whole lips and sometimes just as a lip liner (it's hard to do so because it's huge!! :p) both were a good deal costing almost 2 BD each! Lip pen here - Eye Pen here

My must have make-up item is mascara! I was going on a mascara hunt and I didn't have this one in mind but once I tried it I fell in love with it and I didn't hesitate to buy it! but theeeen reality hit me its color is kohl black! do you know what that means? it's the darkest thing I've ever tried which is good but when removing it OMG! it's the Panda situation!! I can't really say that I LOVE this mascara but it's not like I HATE it, it's a bitter sweet love :p I just need some more practice to master applying it!

but then again maybe I'm comparing it to my last one which was Lancome it was PERFECTION! I got it as a promo with a perfume and it was the best thing ever - it lengthens and gives a beautiful volume but sometimes when I needed more dramatic look I would use Givenchy. Both were amazing but I wanted to try something else! I got Dior (Diorshow Black out - Kohl)  for 17 BD, Givenchy ( Noir Couture 4 in 1) for 15 BD both from Sephora.
(in the pic: Dior , Givenchy, Lancome)

For a long time I've been looking for a beautiful foundation and when I decide to go get one and try them there was always a reason that I get back home empty handed!! and finally I tried this foundation from Gosh cosmetics - I love their products, I've tried nail polish, lipstick and eyeshadow and all were to die for! - and as I started using it I realized that it was a huge disappointment!!! first it's a light reflecting and I'm an oily skin kinda person, so you you can always expect a disco ball on my face after a while!! plus the shade was not the right match for me!! I give this foundation a lot of chances that I might have applied it an a wrong way!! and for the last time I'll be giving it a chance with THE beauty blender and I hope it won't disappoint me! I got it from lifestyle for around 8 BD.

Last but not least is the Beauty Blender ❤❤ :p excuse my hearts because these are my very recent purchases I just got it last week and I can't wait to try them! I've been wanting to get one for a long time BUT it wasn't available here in Bahrain (my country) so I had to wait or order it online and I finally after searching and searching I found the perfect online shopping website that was actually a Bahraini so I thought YES I'll get it, then at the same time I went to Sephora and I saw a booth for the beauty blender! but of-course it was out of stock but I asked for how much they were and it was fate that made it out of stock because it was 1.5 BD more than the ones from the website (Mrs.Kim: so easy to order from and nice customer service!) so I ended up ordering these twins!! I'll let you know what happens when I try them. did you like it ? is it like what I imagine it to be?
From Mrs Kim here From Sephora here

so that's it for my newest additions and plans for the future are a new powder since mine is dyeing but I want to get another one because it was a favorite, whenever I use it I fall all over again but I want to try something else! is there a good competitor to MAC? I'm thinking of chanel or dior still haven't decided yet! what do you think?? and what are your recent additions?

have a nice day
xoxo

DIY - Lip scrub !!

Happy thursday everyone :D today I thought I would share with you something I've recently became addicted to! which is a lip scrub - I've been looking for "the" best lip scrub, a lot of people recommended a DIY scrub so I thought let's try that! I've been using it now for almost two months and I can tell you I am 100% in love with how my lips look and feel! it's simple, effective and you can always refill it ;p the main two products for a simple lip scrub would be sugar and oil and that's it but as I was searching I found some who said that you can add just about what you like so here is how I did mine, we will need:
- Normal sugar (some say they use powder sugar but it gave me a paste sort of thing! so I went to normal one) - 2 tbs
- Olive oil (or any oil you wish) - ½ or 3/4 tbs
- Rose water (because I know how beneficial it is to beauty purposes - and that is my personal addition to the scrub ;p) - 3-6 drops as you like
- food color (just a fun addition and to make it look professional!) - 3 drops
- container

first add the sugar and then the oil gradually and make sure that sugar is always greater than the oil or else it will be too greasy >_< we defiantly don't want that! and this is how it's gonna look like

then add the rose water and the color, mix them all together and you have your lovely lip scrub!! you can also add flavor but I didn't like it :p

and to get the best out of this scrub I put a lip butter on before sleeping because it gives my lips intensive moister and when I wake up I scrub my lips gently but making sure that every dead cell or flake is removed and then I apply a lip balm just because the sugar makes you feel like your lips are dry!

Trust me you will fall in love with your lips ! I know I did ;)
enjoy your weekend !

My first wall art!!

a while ago when my sister moved to her new room :p in which I felt like it was missing a wall art touch! so I promised her that I will do her a beautiful piece to decorate her coral pink room! I was pleased with what I managed to create but after I printed it out OMG!!! I couldn't be anymore proud! I sometimes doubt my abilities and that was the first time in which I saw a clear result of what I can do!! I'm so happy and I know that that poster will not be my last!

what do you think?
